نجم الهدى
The Promised Messiah and Imam Mahdi (peace be upon him) authored this book in a single day, in both Arabic and Urdu. In it, he (peace be upon him) addressed some of the proofs of the truth of Islam, explained some of the wisdom found in the rulings of the pure religion, and spoke about the miracle of the Holy Quran. He then clarified the true meaning of the two blessed names of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), "Muhammad" and "Ahmad," elaborating on the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) virtues and merits, which confirm that he is the best and highest of all the prophets. Finally, he (peace be upon him) spoke about the trials of the Antichrist in this era and proved with conclusive arguments the necessity of sending a Messenger from God Almighty to remove these evils and trials. He also mentioned some of the clear signs that God Almighty revealed in support of him, such as the sign of learning the Arabic language, the need of the time for his mission (peace be upon him), the sign of the lunar and solar eclipses, and the destruction of the Hindu Lakhram, the enemy of Islam, as a result of his supplication against him.
تذكرة الشهادتين
His Holiness the Promised Messiah (peace be upon him) wrote this book in 1903 and divided it into two parts: one in Urdu, recounting the events surrounding the *Bai'at* (pledge of allegiance) and martyrdom of two of his companions in Afghanistan; and another in Arabic, comprising three essays. The first is titled "The Time for Prayer, Not for Battles and the Killing of Enemies"; the second, "An Account of the Reality of Revelation and the Means of Attaining It"; and the third, "Signs of Those Near to God."
